00 FROM THE SOIL, OF THE SOIL, TO THE SOIL
Material-led, we use regenerative, soil-positive, natural, closed-loop fibers to make socially-responsible, universally relevant, space-making products. Scroll below to learn more about each stage of our decision making.

04 MANUFACTURING
We partner with independent, socially responsible manufacturing entities.

Manufacturing often begins at the material source. Local networks of shepherds and ginners, spinners, natural dyers, and weavers process raw material such as natural wool and organic cotton. When raw-fiber is not locally grown, we make sure its closed-loop and plant-based such as Bemberg cupro from Japan, and Lenzing modal from Austria.

All our textiles are dyed using natural and azo-free dyes.

Our materials then travel to meet our independently run manufacturing teams who transform them into our products, ready to be photographed and listed for sale.

05 PACKAGING & SHIPPING
Our labels and hang-tags are 100% plant fiber, printed in single-color, and 100% biodegradable. We pack and ship products wrapped in acid-free tissue paper and compostable corrugated boxes using USPS in the United States and UPS or DHL internationally. To close the loop at this stage, we balance our impact with carbon points.

06 CLOSING THE PROFIT LOOP
Last but not the least, we focus on closing the profit loop because when you shop with us, you activate the value of our process. Thus, we redistribute our profits, sharing them with the localities that make our materials. This keeps the circle going, and over time compounds value.

Since going live in December 2019, we've circled back 44% of gross profits from all sales to:-
